Expensive
Why has everything become so expensive??? The prices of goods has keep increasing throughout the years since i was born.
Firstly, It is the Good Services Tax. It has increased from 3% to 5%. What's the problem of maintaining at 3%?? I don't really read much news, even i read, i only quickly browse through so the details i am not very sure. But i think it's abit too much. Most Singaporeans do not have high income.Most of our parents are in the middle income category or low income category. They are always trying to make ends meet. Firstly, paying the utilities bills can amount to hundreds. Furthermore, there's still phone bills, income taxes and insurance bills and education fees. All these can amount to their salaries of what they had earned and yet, all the prices are increasing like mad.
Secondly, it is the education fees. The fees have increased for all levels of education. Well, i know that the government increased the fees so that they could give us better facilities to learn. This is understandable. I dont want to talk much about this. Later, i might get into trouble.
Next are some trival matters or maybe only one matter. The Macdonals meals has increased tremendously. I remembered that when i was young, the meal is only 4.50 dollars but now it had became 5.70. It only increased only 1.20 dollars. It may seem insignificant, but what you get, doesnt really worth paying 5.70. It's significant to me. Furthermore, it's not really healthy. It's heaty and not a balanced meal.
The bus fares has also increased but not that much. So i wun say much on that. But when as a 16 yr old kid deem as an adult?? According to the law, those age under 18 is still considered as children. So i dont think it's reasonable for those who never go for the PAE course to increase their Fares. If they are working far, the transportation fee of to and fro would be about $5. It's very expensive. However, in the end we will reach that age and our fares would become adult fares. So i think we have to adapt. Aint i contradicting myself.. Haiz..
There are many stuffs that their prices has increased, but i dun want to drag on or else this blog would become very draggy. So i will stop here.
